As a Producer, DJ, and Sound Engineer, KION is part of Clandestine Cultivations (a London / Brighton collective / record label / promotions crew). His first 12" 'Yard Music' was released on Clandestine's First Offensive EP in July 2006, and 2nd release (KION EP) released in June/July 2007.
He has 5 releases lined up in collaboration with Jacky Murda on new label Little Island Records due to begin dropping in 2009
As an indivudual DJ as well as part of the DJing trio CLANDESTINE (along with Unlikely and Dom), he currently holds multiple residencies - Dubpressure at the Volks Club in Brighton (that he co-promotes with fellow Clandestine members Unlikely, Dom and Letty, with previous guests including SLT Mob, Youngsta, Benga, Skream, Distance, Plasticman, Hijack, Kode 9, Chef, Darkside and more), Superdubpressure at Concorde 2 (legendary Bi-monthly night in Brighton), Carbon (monthly dnb night at Volks Club, playing host to room 2 - now with a killer sound!), Rise (as with Carbon, another monthly dnb event where Dubpressure host room 2) and was also formerly on rotational residency at Platform 1, Corsica Studios in Elephant & Castle, SE London in 2007 and the popular but short-lived weekly Thursday night events 'Them' at Brighton Coalition (with guests including Vex'd, Killa Keila and more) in early 2009.
He has guested at venues around the UK - nights include Detonate in Nottingham, FWD at Plastic People in London, H.E.N.C.H. in Bristol, whilst he has also played in Athens and in Barcelona.
He held down a weekly radio show with Unlikely on Sub FM from July 2006 to June 2007, and switched to Rinse FM in July 2007, playing weekly on Tuesday nights. Their show was subsequently re-scheduled to a fortnightly slot on Thursday nights (up until January 2008),and is currently taking a break from radio to focus on some brand new projects that are currently in the works.
