Bristol based label Mode Recordings - set up to promote new and established artists within the Dubstep culture, bring you their third release which features two immaculately produced tunes from Djunya (USA) which both display strong echoes of dubstep's rich heritage in rave, jungle and dub, yet re-contextulised for today's dance floors.

'Contact' is a suberb skank-stepper, propelled by righteous chord stabs, gargantuan bass vibrations and a wobbly, filtered 'Mentasm' sample that will instantly appeal to anyone who still remembers and cherishes those classic hardcore 'hoover' tunes such as Human Resource's 'Dominator'. Add a subtle dash of organ harmony and the results are practically irresistable.

On the flip, 'Uprise' assembles a gothic choir, pensive Spanish guitar melody and ghostly flashes of militaristic, heavily-reverberated Amen breakbeat to build a truly epic soundtrack that drips with ominous tension and gradually developes into a spine-tingling crescendo that will send shivers through the crowd at any dance.

US based DJ and producer Djunya is known for his blend of bass heavy beats and focusing on the heavy tones of dubstep to produce tracks that captivates his listeners on both sides of the pond.
