Nine Songs is the latest release by Doby Watson, who used to be known to some as Boo Hiss. Doby took old Boo Hiss recordings and reworked them over the past year, culminating in an ambient album that retains the emotions and (sometimes) melodies of the original Boo Hiss songs, but surpassing them in depth and emotion. Although it is a great album to listen to while going to sleep, there are details throughout each song that reward listeners who pay close attention.
