Congratulations! You have found the Doctor Daydream sketch page, where I post my musical doodlings.
All works shared are really rough sketches, so feel free to post comments. These are the symptoms of an ailment or affliction that preoccupies me, sometimes obsessively. Still I can't fight it, and this is where they bubble out into the open. So tell me I'm mad or tell me I'm brilliant, it makes little difference, I've been tangling with this obsession too long to stop now; but the latter may cheer me up a little as I stew over another looming deadline.
Four different flavors for you to sample today. All thrown out in short time, stolen from around the edges of my real life. I like to layer singing on singing, I know it's rough but it's quick, and one day the a cappella doodles may be promoted to a fully fledged songs. In fact since writing this post I've updated "Late December", added some youth club piano and reworked the vocals.
So here's to creative outlets for us all, too long have the professionals dominated the business, let's hear it for the unpolished and unsigned. This is just my updated version of being a 17 year old bashing out my songs on the street, the thirty years interim has deprived me of some of my youthful vigor and caused me many head, and heart aches. This is my therapy.
