Virb is pairing charities with designers to create something truly beautiful
As the VIRB community continues to grow, we find that we are increasingly blessed with a plethora of very creative individuals. While in another corner, there is a growing number of charities and organizations making VIRB their new home. So... we had an idea. Each month, we will choose a charity or organization and you, Mister and Misses Creative, will have the chance to put yourself in the running for that month's design. The organization will choose their designer - and then we pair you two up. The charity walks away with a incredible new VIRB profile and you walk away knowing you did something really good. Oh -- and there's the fact that you both will be featured on the homepage.

Unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation causes 80% of all sickness and disease, and kills more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Many people in the developing world, usually women and children, walk more than three hours every day to fetch water that is likely to make them sick. Those hours are crucial, preventing many from working or attending school. Additionally, collecting water puts them at greater risk of sexual harassment and assault. Children are especially vulnerable to the consequences of unsafe water. Of the 42,000 deaths that occur every week from unsafe water and a lack of basic sanitation, 90% are children under 5 years old.
We believe access to clean water is a fundamental human right.
And we're doing something about that.
