How Down Goes Hollywood Got Together!
Down Goes Hollywood merged in April of 2007 from the local Springfield, Ohio music scene. Josh Bowers (Nevermind the Story) and Curtis Lykins (Fake the Smile) started this project to make a statement and a mark on society, bringing the art back to melody and rhythmic structure to song.
Longing for a fresh start, Ayejay Ross (Nevermind the Story) had searched and searched, starving to find artists that had the same goals and the drive to achieve them. So he got in contact with Josh and Curtis immediately, in conversation they both talked over the circumstances and so it was official, the pieces were mending together quickly. In a weeks time Ayejay contacts former Nevermind the Story guitarist Zack Ennis to give this a project a shot and for him to add his own perspective and creativeness to the catchy songwriting.
In the crunch for time Down Goes Hollywood had started writing material to record their three song demo with Grant Beachy (Staple) at Electric Angel Studios, while still searching for another solid rhythm guitarist. So days before Down Goes Hollywood stepped in the studio, B.J. Krouse (Anna Bella) had called Ayejay just randomly to see what he has been up to. Which sparked Ayejay to ask B.J. if he were interested in trying out and with the first listen to the rough mix of the demo, B.J. was like "hell yeah" and soon enough he was the newest member of Down Goes Hollywood.
Now with every piece of Down Goes Hollywood in sync, it leaves nothing more than time to attain the goals that have been set by each member and travel the path that has been set before us!

I'm a big fan of Indie music. Just found yours through a friend invite from AKR. I really liked Drown The Captain and Church Groups And AA Meetings and have added them to my profile player. Make a difference. Make music.
