About
David Paul Livesey (b. 1984) is a British composer currently based in the North West of England. David began his musical career in 1995 as a cathedral chorister at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral under the direction of Prof. Ian Tracey. Developing an interest in the organ, David began studying the instrument with Diane Barton which led to an organ scholarship at Birkenhead School, where he studied with David Houlder. After completing his A levels, David was accepted to read composition at Birmingham Conservatoire in 2003. He studied with Sid Peacock, Richard Leigh Harris and Howard Skempton.
