Fallto, the latest release by Drifting In Silence, is Shoegaze meets Dancing Shoes. To the trademark shifting layers of aural light and shadow, composer/multi-instrumentalist Derrick Stembridge had added driving, motive rhythms that provide a new edge that you'll be hard-pressed not to dance to. Voices, processed and pumped through vocoders, achieve new prominence. Complex, industrial-strength (but never pedestrian) percussion keeps everything moving, while lyrical keyboard lines weave through and tie everything together. In more ways than one, Stembridge has found his voice in this third installment of the trilogy begun with Truth and developed further in last year's Ladderdown.

Very fine tracks! I especially loved chameleon, the dirty drumwork along the very nice soundscapes sound simply fantastic. The vocoded lyrics fit very well and are probably the salt in the soup.
