The Blog of the Drunken Swordsman

Spring City, PA

About

Welcome to the Blog of the Drunken Swordsman!! Why Drunken Swordsman? Well, Will and I are both into fencing, and we would love someday to put a bar in our basement and name it the Drunken Swordsman ... we're thinking the sign will have a fencer leaning on a foil with a pint in his hand, so anyone with artistic talent that wants to tackle that picture, go for it!

Anyway, now that Liam has entered our lives, I thought it might be a good idea to start a blog so that everyone can keep tabs on what the little cherub is doing. I'm hoping to make an entry about once a week, and hopefully Will can do the same (note to self: tell Will that I started a blog).

So, a little about us ... I'm Jackie. Will and I got married on 9/7/02 and had Liam on 4/5/08. We have two cats (Jake and Elwood), and we live in Spring City, PA, which is basically the middle of nowhere, but the neighborhood we live in is great, so that makes it worth it.

So, that's the Cliffs Notes version of us ... really, if you're reading this, chances are you've already got the full details, so why read them here? Enjoy the blog ... I've got to go wipe spit-up off of my arm.

Liam: So Many Decorations, So Little Time!

Mommy decorated the house over the past two weeks. Now, she has to say, "No Liam" quite a lot. It's not my fault, there are so many new things to pull on and eat, how can I resist? Mommy was at least smart enough to put the valuable things up high. I mostly play …

Liam: Me and the Fat Man

Met Santa Claus today, seemed like a nice fellow. He held me so the strange ladies squeaking toys and jingling bells at me could snap my photo a few times. Mommy cried when she saw them, she cries at things like that, she says they are happy tears. Anyway, Santa was …
