Duuster is from the Netherlands, and now lives in France. Duuster was formerly known as Element 11, which was signed on the Unit/Possessive Blindfold label, where he released in 2000 track for the Label compilation "Exoskeleton 3" (with bands like; Gridlock, Savak, Zymosiz, Dryft, Exclipsect, JVox etc...) and also a remix for Savak own "Taliban Pistol" mini album in 2001. In 2003 Duuster released an excellent limited split CD with the polish artist CH.District on M-tronic. Now he presents his debut solo album which will for sure remain in the memories. Indeed the maturity and production shown on "Habitat" is simply amazing, Duuster's music is very dark idm with an industrial feeling. Beautiful melodies and deep drones combined with complex beat patterns form an incredible total which reminds one of Autechre, Polygon, Funckarma and other high-quality electronic releases. The 11 tracks build a progressive and solid trip into abyssal feelings of the listener and some club hits like « Het freudvliegje » or « Knodds node stepped » will wash your brain. With Duuster, M-tronic has more than a hope for the electronic scene of the next years. As bonus, you will get two remixes by the well-known dutch act Funckarma (N5MD / Warp records) and the american Emotional Joystick (Zod records). Both remix from Duuster "Habitat"album had been added to Funckarma "Refurbished One" on N5MD Records (USA) and on Emotional Joystick second album "Plays!" on Zod Records (USA). A Limited Viny is plan on the Label Üne Records (France) with no release date for the moment. (www.unerecords.com)
