Earthen Records is a record label located in the Highlands of Scotland, specialising in experimental and individual music. We are looking to work with artists of any genre or persuasion who are committed to improving their art and producing excellent, unique music. We believe that by giving artists a large royalty percentage we can provide a fairer and more sensible approach to releasing and selling music that will realistically only appeal to a limited number of people.
In this business, the most powerful marketing tool is word of mouth. The most powerful tool for selling a CD is to allow people to hear the music. We believe that by giving away free MP3s which are representative of our artists material, you can essentially "try before you buy". Our first release, the Achenar debut album, 'All Will Change', was released 21st September 2007.
