Eclectica opened it's doors on Hawthorne in 2005
by a couple of likeminded people frustrated by
the lack of good fashion in corporate chains
and the lack of good prices in area boutiques.
We decided to take our love for fashion
and venture onto our own, with no experience whatsoever.
Our idea was simple...
just because you pay more doesn't mean you get more
and the thought you put into your dress
should say more about who you are than a stupid label.
This is something we've sworn by our entire lives.
and will continue to live by for our customers
We buy what we personally like and wear,
and take pride in hand selecting each item we carry
and bringing something special into our store for our customers.
Often being the only place in Portland to carry particular brands
such as RZST, Rise Up, iMPROPERaZZi, and Entrust,
we are always on the hunt for the next new brand
that is going to leave us speechless.

We say eff you to those pretentious namebrands
with nothing to offer except ridiculous prices,
and continue to bring in the newest,
most progressive designs at prices that will amaze.
