Edward Guglielmino is an avant garde sonic experimentalist, falling somewhere between rock, pop, folk and noise.
Edward's offbeat style finds common ground with the philosophies of Warhol, Keroac and The Velvet Underground. But he injects the usual beat-era irreverence and stream-of-consciousness storytelling concept with a distinctly modern, technology-embracing, indie-kid twist.
Edward's palette is an arsenal of cheap guitars and effects, his canvas the exploding internet music community. He's fuelled by an overcaffeinated carpe diem compulsion and a passion for challenging music. His arthouse attitude to performance - whimsically reinterpreting the "genre" of tunes from gig to gig - can render his songs difficult to classify.
Think Robert Smith meets Thom York meets Kurt Cobain meets Lou Reed meets Jeff Buckely.
Edward is also well-known as a MySpace junkie, having worked the online community to sell his debut album The Learning Curve to connoisseurs-of-the-odd scattered all around the world. His second release Tacky (a very) tacky ep, is currently selling at a steady rate over the net, and in Australian stores.
Guglielminos music can be heard Australian radio stations 4zZz (Brisbane), BayFm (Brisbane), Planet Radio (Brisbane) , FBI Radio (Sydeny), Radio Adelaide (Adelaide), Edge Fm (Hobart), Triple J (National), and overseas on Motor FM (Berlin). Guglielmino's music is also featured on prominate mp3 radio sites Pirate (Berlin), Alien (Los Angles) and Raw Audio (Brisbane).

He also runs his own label, The Television Record Collective, based on the principals of the Warholian factory Guglielmino works and shares with the artists - Cometowherethecarpetstops, Cameron Elliott, Luke Foran, Jackie Marshall and his Improv band Lost Of Love.

Guglielmino internet following allows him to draw a wage of his music alone despite having no commericial label support. He has fronted conferences on the topic and lectured at universities in Brisbane, as one of the new era of musicians creating sustainable careers and touring of there net profile alone.
Edward Guglielmino is currently based in Brisbane Australia, where he frequently plays shows both as a soloist and with his improv band Lost of Love (featuring tour-de-force songstress Jackie Marshall and The Boat People's James O'Brien).
Overseas Guglielmino also has small but solid followings in New York, Berlin, LA, Calgary and Tokyo, and has played selected shows in each city. In Australia Guglielmino has toured the east coast extensively. Bob Dylan put it best when he said "No one can argue with word of mouth" this is Guglielmino greatest strength, he is an artist people want talk about, and share. It is for this reason, his following grows on a daily basis.
Guglielmino is currently recording his third commericial release, a full length album. Produced and recorded at Massive Studios (Booty, Bobby Flynn). Guglielmino is also about to embark on his second tour of Australias east coast.
