Marc Pettenger began his relationship with music at a young age. As a formally trained percussionist, he was influenced by many diverse styles of music and performance. After many years of performing traditional music, a growing desire for something new and completely different could no longer be ignored. Marc found what he was looking for in the broad world of electronic music.

As soon as he found this music, Marc's obsessive nature came into full bloom, and the musician he was destined to become was finally born.

Far removed from the restrictive mold of his past education, Marc began his quest to learn everything he could about the science of sound, from synthesis and sound design, to recording and mastering audio.

The inner performer would find his place behind a pair of turntables, where the challenge of using them as musical instruments was met head on. Influenced by the great turntablists of early hip hop, Marc found that this style of performance mirrored many of his experiences in percussion. The pursuit of technical aptitude, improvisation, and sounds unheard by human ears fueled his passion for the art of deejay performance.

Marc's passion for music is eclipsed by only one thing: his passion for the success of everyone around him. Those close to Marc get to deal with his constant encouragement and an uncontainable level of enthusiasm towards their own goals.

While focused on Drum 'n Bass, Electro/Tech House, Hip Hop, and other styles of dance music, Marc also enjoys writing mainstream music in the areas of Jazz, Blues, Pop, and even Rock. With a broad musical education, Marc enjoys collaborating with musicians and singers of all backgrounds, leaving a wide world of opportunity available for the taking. What the future holds, few can guess, for in his world of music there are no rules, no boundaries, and nothing is taboo.
