Mélant des influences diverses du nom de Joy Divison, Whitehouse, Throbbing Gristle, Sonic Youth, Unsane, Einsturzende Neubauten ou Killing Joke, le groupe se forge très vite un univers à part, décalé au point de préférer un son low-fi âpre dans une optique post-punk.
