To celebrate its homecoming, veteran headliners MIA. and Stereo MCs will be back to top the line-up with Klee for an exciting night of live music.

The 2008 series of Electronic Beats Live Specials will kick off when the T-Mobile Forum opens its doors to host the event almost four years after the first Live Special there in 2004. That memorable night in the early days of Electronic Beats' history was to be one of the first in what is now an annual series of live music events that have entertained thousands across Europe. The Electronic Beats Live Specials have proved to be a sell-out success featuring three to four main artists with DJ sets in-between for a full night of music in a party atmosphere.

German electro-pop sensation MIA., fresh from the achievement of their third album, were a highlight of the sold-out 2006 Festival line-up in Vienna. Devoted fans travelled from afar to hear lead singer Mieze Katz's captivating voice and the band's latest singles from 'Zirkus', which peaked at number two on the German album charts. They will be topping this year's line-up along with the Stereo MCs who are one of the UK's most successful alternative hip-hop acts of all time and previous headliners of another sold-out Electronic Beats Festival in Amsterdam during 2005. Their forthcoming album is to be their sixth after introducing the UK to the pleasures of beats and rhymes with their first release nearly 20 years ago.

Cologne natives, Klee, will round out the stellar line-up with their own flavour of German pop and will debut material from their brand new album releasing in May. An additional sequence of DJs will be announced soon.

Tickets are now on sale for the Bonn Festival at a discount price of EUR12 until March 14th.
