About
Dmitri Subochev (Subcult) - media artist; "CNMRG" research group curator, "Theremin Center" resident, "Moscow Laptop Orchestra" & "Duo Inventum" projects member.
Since 1998 he is working in interdisciplinary field of contemporary media arts, like: sound art, visual music, installation, live performance; and conducting research with particular interest in max/msp/jitter programming, "graphical sound" technologies and visualizations.
Some of his works was awarded by Russian and international contests, like:
"Crystal Kamerton" music competition - Grand prix in electronic music section (Russia)
Bourges International Electroacoustic Music Competition - Residence prize (France)
"Trust For Mutual Understanding" foundation's "Sound Art Residency" prize (Usa)
