When Emaline Delapaix & The Delistocracy perform, you'll have fun. You might laugh so hard, you'll fall off your seat, and then be compelled to write a poem about world poverty, all in one set. Emaline's songs are about everything from dodgy jobs, including a paid offer to spank a man for £100 an hour, to an artist's exotic outlook on life, travel, loss, love, hard hitting world issues and secret love affairs between musicians.
Emaline began her career in sun baked Australia, touring cities and the Aussie outback. since then, she's taken her swag of songs to Europe, North America, and has even traveled to Vietnam. Through her travel and experiences, Emaline's music has grown with her, to incorporate her thoughtful and sometimes humourous perspective into an enchanting eclectic style, all of her very own. Whether she's singing a lilting lullaby about a London love affair, a funky folk song with roots flavours, a brassy jazz number, some lazy cabaret, a clever pop song, or rocking out Latin-style, Emaline will make you feel something. And she might even get you dancing.
