In better news, my personal favorite The End band, AGALLOCH, will finally release "The White EP" through Vendlus Records in early 2008. It is the follow-up to 2004's "The Grey EP" (also on Vendlus) and represents the completion of this body of work. According to the band, "The White EP" contains seven more dark folk and ambient works written and recorded over the past 3 years.

Also, they've scheduled 4 live dates. And I officially hate everyone who lives in the Northwest. You guys get all the good shows lately (this, Estradasphere and Amanda Palmer...).

LORDI, THE END, and WOOZYFLY have teamed up for 24-hour online Hell-o-ween broadcast



The show will feature a 24-hour marathon with interviews from LORDI, videos and the World Exclusive Premiere of the concert at THE FILLMORE in New York City (shot on October 29th, 2007), where yours truly will be drinkin in the crowd.

WoozyFly will also feature some other bands, such as Kittie, Spottiswoode, Zack Hillyard, Devante, and Hysterics, among others.

New Seattle-ites ESTRADASPHERE have scheduled 4 West Coast dates with Amanda Palmer from the Dresden Dolls.

Montreal's pioneering metal band VOIVOD won the Best Metal/Hardcore Album award for their album 2006 album 'Katorz' at the annual Quebec Independent Music Awards (GAMIQ) this past weekend in Montreal, Quebec.

The album was assembled, recorded and released by the band (drummer Michel 'Away' Langevin,' singer Denis 'Sanke' Belanger and bassist Jason 'Jasonic' Newsted) and producer Glen Robinson using demos left by by founding guitarist Denis "Piggy" D'Amour who succumbed to colon cancer in August of 2006.

BIG UPS to ALL of the guys and gals who interned here over the summer. You guys did a great job and definitely helped the company run smoothly. We're confused and lonely here in the warehouse and now I'm back to being the only girl. And the guys are back to using the girl's bathroom regularly.
