THURSDAY ANNOUNCE EUROPEAN TOUR

Critically acclaimed post-hardcore pioneers Thursday, have announced a European Tour in April 2009. The tour, which is set between April 11th and April 19th, will take them through six European countries and the majority of the shows will be part of the "Give It A Name" traveling festivals, with Taking Back Sunday, Underoath, Innerpartysystem and Thursday's label mates Escape The Fate.

Thursday will be touring in support of their highly anticipated new album, Common Existence, due out on February 16th on Epitaph. Recorded with producer/mixer Dave Fridmann (A City By The Light Divided, Mogwai, MGMT, Flaming Lips), Common Existence marks Thursday's fifth studio album which is already receiving rave reviews in the European music press. Rock Sound UK stated that "Each song on the album is fantastic, a few are even spectacular", granting the album an 8/10. Highly acclaimed Q Magazine called Common Existence bands "most consistent body of work to date" (4/5).

The European tour follows their headlining appearance in the "Rockstar Taste of Chaos" Tour in the US, in which they are joined on stage by Bring Me The Horizon and Cancer Bats.

Epitaph and Every Time I Die Make It Official

Epitaph Records is proud to confirm the worst kept secret of 2009, the signing of one of hardcore-rock's most notorious bands Every Time I Die. With the ink on the contract barely dry, the band is eager to enter the studio this spring to record their debut for the label, which is expected for release this fall.

"To be given the opportunity to start anew after existing for over ten years in an environment that has chewed up and spit out most bands in a quarter of that time is nothing short of a miracle" says vocalist Keith Buckley. "We are extremely honored and humbled by the faith that our new family at Epitaph has placed in us to continue writing music that is true to ourselves and true to our supporters. Buckley along with founding members Jordan Buckley (guitar), Andy Williams (guitar), Mike Novak and newcomer Josh Newton (bass) have been slinging their nasty brand of southern rock infused, sweat drenched metal for the past decade, releasing classic hardcore albums like Gutter Phenomenon, Hot Damn! and Big Dirty and touring the world over multiple times.

"Their brazenly original amalgam of rock 'n roll and ironic aesthetics always reminds me of LA's dangerous, burgeoning hardcore scene I grew up in," adds Epitaph owner Brett Gurewitz. "Maybe that's why they've long been my favorite contemporary American hardcore band. Having the opportunity to work with them is a dream come true."

Rising Pop-rock Group Sing It Loud Calls On Fans to Submit their High Schools for Performances

In a unique effort to connect with young fans on a personal level, pop-rock's most exciting new group Sing it Loud are giving high school students across the country a chance to have the band play live at their schools. Touring in support of their wildly popular new album, Come Around, Sing It Loud are inviting fans to submit their schools to intern2@awaremusic.com for consideration. The band will perform an intimate acoustic set followed by a presentation where the band will talk about their musical backgrounds and how their high school's music programs helped them, a Q&A and autograph signings at selected schools during the day, before their regularly scheduled shows that night along their tour routing. Austrailia's Top Metal/Hardcore Band Parkway Drive Returns to the US for a Headlining Tour and Bamboozle

America, brace yourself as the masters of Aussie metalcore Parkway Drive make their triumphant return for a blistering headlining spring tour and performances at Bamboozle and Bamboozle Left in support of the band's brutish sophomore album Horizons. Post-hardcore Group To Release New Album In March And Launch US Tour

Boston post-hardcore group Vanna will release their anticipated sophomore album, A New Hope, March 24th on Epitaph Records. Produced and mixed by Steve Evetts (Every Time I Die, Our Last Night, Story of the Year) and mastered by Alan Douches (Converge), A New Hope emphasizes the band's heightened musical abilities, balancing a perfect blend of emotive rock and perilous hardcore with refined precession. Fans can catch a preview of the new album this January as the band tours with Gwen Stacy.

Since the release of Vanna's fan-favorite debut EP, The Search Party Never Came, and their follow-up full-length, Curses, the band has been on a continuous musical journey, evolving, exploring and maturing with each release and tour. With the experience of using what works and letting go of what doesn't, the band tackled the writing and recording of A New Hope with an added perspective and understanding.

"The writing and recording process naturally becomes more dialed and decisive with each record," explains lead vocalist Chris Preece. "This record was approached with more of a group mentality. We talked a lot about what we liked and disliked about our last two releases, and each one of us were able to express ourselves in every step of the process. We locked ourselves in our practice space for two months, everyone threw out song ideas, and the ideas were fleshed out into something that we were all happy with. All of our individual influences and inspirations played a big role creatively."

Creativity abounds. A New Hope will grab Vanna's core fans with catchy songs fueled by intense breakdowns, while their accessible melodious song-writing will open the door to a new audience.

Continually elevating their game, Vanna have raised the musical stakes with a bombardment of twelve tracks that invoke a deluge of sensations. Preece's guttural screams and Evan Pharmakis' (guitarist/vocals) melodic choruses seamlessly duel on tracks like the epic post-hardcore anthem for the ages, "Safe To Say," and the sweeping hit "The Same Graceful Wind." The fast, ferocious work of guitarist Nick Lambert, bassist Shawn Marquis and drummer Chris Campbell provide a wall of intense sound on tracks like "Thrashmouth" and "Life and Limb."

The hottest metalcore band this side of the Thames, Bring Me The Horizon, have released a mutinous new video for their latest single, "Chelsea Smile," from their critically heralded new album, Suicide Season. Undisputed Pop-Punk Champs New Found Glory Will Release New Album On March 10th

Pop-punk's reigning champs, New Found Glory, come out swinging on their hotly anticipated new album, Not Without A Fight, due March 10th on Epitaph Records. Defending their title against any and all contenders, the platinum-selling group's sixth studio album delivers a one-two knockout with fist-pumping hooks and catchy sing-along choruses. Working with producer Mark Hoppus (Motion City Soundtrack, The Matches) and mixer Neil Avron (Fall Out Boy) in their corner, NFG prove that challengers don't stand a chance.

In anticipation of the release, New Found Glory will kick off the Fight on January 6th with an album pre-sale, online video game and a weigh-in press conference that will be followed by - in true NFG fashion - hysterically funny training videos launching each week beginning January 22nd that will ultimately lead up to the main event: a new music video for their first single "Listen To Your Friends."
