I'm a 20 year old college student, working to get into nursing school. Music, obviously, isn't my main focus... right now. But it is very much a part of who I am. I've "piddled" with the guitar for a few years now. I need lessons, but too broke and too busy to put forth that much effort. I established my love for music at a young age, mostly singing Sting and U2 in the car with dad everyday after school. He'd throw in Zepplin occasionally, and those days were always fun. :) Anyway, I watched my dad sing in front of the church for years and he eventually started asking me to sing with them, which then lead to me going "solo". My obsession with music grew and grew, then exploded one Christmas morning when I caught first glimpse of my brand new Baby Taylor. She was beautiful.
That morning was the beginning of a seriously inconsistent, yet determined journey to become a musician. I mean, Bono always needs back up singers, right? Although my dreams have changed somewhat since that morning, I still love to play and sing and write and even lead occasionally. It has become a passion. But even more so, a passion to use whatever I have to make His name known. Whether it be nursing, music, or dolphin training... I want people to know Him.
