Evan Pew (b. 1974) is an artist and illustrator living in the Boston, Massachusetts area. Evan is a 1997 graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art, where he majored in illustration.
Evan's influences in his visual art range from 19th century painters like Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele, 20th century favorites like the pop artists (Andy Warhol, Tom Wesselmann), and those working in the "new realist" fashion (Lucien Freud, David Hockney, John Currin). Other subjects that influence and inspire Evan range from quirky pop-culture, the supernatural, nostalgia for the good-old-days of yore, mysticism, erotica, pin-ups, animals, strong coffee, and good literature. And that's not all, as according to Evan, "Everyday life, the normal day-to-day stuff, can offer one a plethora of avenues for creative exploration. Experimentation with new and challenging ideas and mediums can also spark fires that turn into creative infernos."
Evan is available for commissioned paintings and freelance illustration work.

What I've Been Up To Recently in Art-land
