Oliver Peters *1970
Actively involved in electronic music since the
early 1990s. Releases and performances of
electroacoustic music since 2002 as EVAPORI.

His compositions are based on diverse concrete sound
sources: field recordings, processed found sound,
self built objects and special treatment of acoustic
instruments like cello and piano.
These elements are carefully interwoven, building multipe
structures between harmonic minimalism and concrete
noise. the music of EVAPORI is atmospheric, yet complex
and unpredictable.

Together with Nicolas Wiese [-Hyph-| Peters founded the
Label AIC. Since 2006 he has, amongst other projects,
set music to the scientific film "E 2250" which was shown
at short film festivals in Hamburg and the Institute of
new music and musical education Darmstadt within
the scope of "Modern Music in the context of technology".
In 2008 he contributed a composition to satoshi morita´s
"sound helmet".
Recently his current release "Rehearsals for Objects"
was transmitted at the "Deutschlandradiokultur"
in the category "NEWCOMER WERKSTATT", which is a
broadcast to introduce emerging soundartists.
