Cedrik Fermont is visiting Lebanon from mid November till the end of the month.
Cedrik is writing a book and working on a documentary about the underground electronic, noise, experimental, and electro-acoustic scene in Africa, the Middle-East and Asia (except Japan). Focusing on the presence and the importance of music in the East, bringing thus to light the neglected side of it, revealing it, and giving it the chance to rise.
Cedrik’s stay in Lebanon will focus on this documentation and help him frame this subject on our fertile ground for more fruitful outcome, including interviews and collaborations with local artists, which will be later on released on his label Syrphe and published internationally through his book and documentary.
