so, a big hoorah for the first ever blog entry by me. i stumbled across this virb thing today while in dothan, AL with my awesome photographer buddy caleb. the network seemed less trashy than myspace and more beneficial to artists and creatives than facebook or blogspot, so here i am. being social has always been somewhat of an effort for me more than it has been second nature. regardless, though, i've come to the realization that we are a relational people living in a world of community in which we can either learn from, be vulnerable with, and encourage those like us who are equally timid to share their lives, or, stand alone and learn nothing, do nothing, be nothing. so here goes. welcome to my life. or a part of it. the images, blogs, music, video, etc are non-existent right now, but they will soon be there. and my hope is that they will in some way provide entry for someone who does or doesn't know me into who i am as an individual. i am an artist, a thinker, a sinner but a saint. perhaps, through the digital window of internet interfaces and media posts a little bit of who i am as a person and who the good Lord has made me to be can be seen and understood by family, friend, and enemy alike. i welcome your interest in my life, and i even promote it. not because i think much of myself. but because for some reason i am interested in yours.
