I'm not looking to make a habit of putting down personal things on this site, though this past weekend we lost a great member of our family and I want to leave a mark for her remembrance. Barbara Laskey was my grandfather's older sister, and about a month ago she was diagnosed with brain cancer, given less than six months to live. From what I gather she was doing well, though the disease took her this past weekend. She was, and still is a huge inspiration for me towards any artistic endeavor.

Some things go by a bit too slowly; but others, they make time go by a lot more quickly than it should.
