...therefore I Virb. Huzzah!
So MySpace was fun...for about 10 days. It's a drag trying to make your personal page look good, when the code seems like it's been ripped out of a monkey's arse. After a short while I couldn't be bothered with it and settled for something easy and low maintenance (read: no maintenance). And what's the point anyway when 98% of all personal pages make me want to scratch my eyes out and look like when the free-website-hosting sites, like angelfire.com and geocities.com, had their boom back in the 1990s and everyone wanted to have their own site. I promised myself, back then, that I'd never resort to a free ad-spamming host and bought my own domain when onesuch was needed. However, in this day and age with online communities flourishing like never before, I felt it was my civil duty to sign up for my own personal spot on MySpace. Yay.
Yesterday I found Virb, explored it with curious interest. So...clean. Properly customizable. Good coding. Oh yeah! Kkthxbye MySpace!
So yeah, Virb has ads, but lo and behold! They are Google Ads placed neatly and unobtrusively beneath the contents and are styled accordingly...and I even click them for the sole purpose of keeping this site going.
Yes, I'm a butt-kissing rambling maniac. I most likely haven't said anything here that hasn't been said before in one way or another. But I'm excused because it's late. Or early. Whatever works for you

I felt exactly the same ! What a pity I couldn't write it as well :D
True CSS customization, no need to use hacks to change your... BACKGROUND-COLOR !! :D
These days myspace improved though. What ? You didn't notice ? Yes ! They changed the icons on the "new comment" and "new message" links ! Ain't it great ? XDDDD
Whatever, welcome here !! :)

Aw thanx a lot for the nice compliment ^^
And no, I didn't notice any changes on MySpace...changing icons seems like a really good idea, though, I'm sure it was very important since they chose to prioritize the look of a couple links -.- I have another good idea as to what needs changing xD
Cheers :)

It's that feeling that get's you after seing Virb. It's not just beautiful-it's clean, ordered and it's a complete different class from myspace. It's simple enough for newbies and complicated enough to go deep into it. So sad that not many people have realised that yet.
