FJORDNE
Shinuchiro Fujimoto is writing a journal. It's a journal of music, sound, and time experimentations inspired by the works of the author Haruki Murakami (Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World, The Wind Up Bird Chronicle). Fjornde, Shunichiro's solo project, happened suddenly in December of 2007 and he has been feverishly pouring out chapter after chapter of transporting ambient experimentations since. It's no wonder that his music inspires such suspended timelessness in extreme contrast to his frenetic Tokyo life. While his life is on fast-forward with a full-time job, playing in the post-rock band Fhenomina, and all of his work on Fjordne, Shunichiro creates a dreamworld that is suspended in a constant state of pause.
Gagosian Liga, May 27, 2008:
I thank you for adding me, dear Fjordne, and I hope you enjoy my music! Feel free to download it! Musical greetings from Munich/Germany!
