Dale LeVante Lee Neal was born to Sabrina Scott and Darren Dale Clay on March 14, 1987 at Hutzle Hospital in downtown Detroit, Michigan. The Detroit native has been living in Atlanta, GA for about 12 years now. A 2005 graduate of Southwest Dekalb High School in Decatur, GA. Dale aka Pison Flo is living in the College Park area, but spends most of his days on the Eastside, graciously "repping" Boring Rd and Wesley Chapel. Staying true to his Midwest ties, Dale aka Pison Flo, relates to and has a style compiled of attributes from artists such as Common, Eminem, and Royce da 5'9, along with countless others. Living in the south Dale was tuned in to a different style of music; southern rap, as made famous by Outkast, Lil Wayne, and Pastor Troy to name a few. Amongst his favorite artist are Andre 3000, Lupe Fiasco, G. Mat, T.I., and Kanye West. He also listens to Maroon 5, Gym Class Heroes, and Likin Park as well a few Christian Rap artists. Pison Flo is a self motivator and a strong believer God. Pison Flo has a "super-left field" way of thinking and can be quoted saying "laugh as long as you breathe and live." Living by this principle Dale tries to make humor out of the worst possible situations he may come across. You can say that Dale's name, Pison Flo was heaven sent, the name Pison (Pishon) actually come from the Bible. In the Genesis chapter 2, verse 11; when God created the Garden of Eden, he created a river with four heads, Pison being the first; Flo has a double meaning because flow is what he does and the primary meaning of flow which can be applied to his everyday life is: alike the most powerful element, water, he can adapt and conform to any obstacle given and when concentrated he can cause mass destruction like monsoons and tsunamis. Dale describes him self as charismatic and peaceful; he also says that he is a "sociable recluse," meaning he can stand the extent of the lime light and attention. Pison Flo has been writing and making music for more than seven years and decided to accept the title of "rapper" four years ago when he produced a song for his girlfriend as a gift for Valentines Day. Once he realized he was able to express him self through the art of music he grounded him self in his potential to impact fans in a positive way and made a conscious effort to be an individual and not just another "rapper." Everyday life, new people, and new places are few facets of inspiration for Pison Flo which allows him to bring his personality to his music. His trademark of carrying a folded notebook in his back pocket enables him to document his seemingly unpredictable life. Pison Flo categorizes his style as "Lupe meets Christian meets T.I. along with 50 Cent's business savvy," he is the perfect blend of Midwest and Southern flavor and also the liaison for bridging the gap between the Christian and secular worlds. To Dale, one of the most exciting aspects of being a rap artist is the ability to innovate. The talented artist has been creating new methods of rapping by mixing acting and music to produce new concepts that are foreign to artist currently in the game. Pison Flo is a busy artist; he runs the record label HardHead Flo Entertainment. He is also starting an umbrella company called Sky High Movement which was given that name because he believes that every one has a "drug" that gets them high, whether it be literally or metaphorically; he wants to spread the message-"do whatever makes you feel good." He wants his fans to get "high" off of the talents he posses. While promoting the hot album "Dub Sack", twenty hot tracks from HardHead Flo Entertainment (the label in which Pison Flo calls home.), he is simultaneously working on two mix tapes-" Tell em' What Flo Means" by DJ Suede and an untitled project by DJ Spesh K. Pison Flo has worked with many successful artists such as Young Joc, Fiend, and KaneBeatz of Atlantic Records. He is also working on collaborations with Mouthpiece of Grizzly Music Entertainment, Milliyon of Cajo International, and Decatur's FattMan. Not just a "rapper" Pison Flo also has his foot in the acting "game" being part of the cast in Tyler Perry's hit film "Madea's Family Reunion" and hit show "House of Payne."
