Metal Hammer (UK): "Meat-and-potato chugging downtuned riffery à la Soulfly combined with intensely melodic choruses in the style of American Head Charge. Loud, proud and guaranteed to rock the crowd."
Since their September 2002 formation Dutch five piece metalband Forcefeed never stopped moving forward. Just a few months after being formed, Forcefeed self-released the EP "Choke On A Mouthful" in Januari 2003, and signed a record deal with the independent label Avalanche Music in June of that same year. In April 2004 their debut album "When Grey Becomes" was released, of which the band's first video "The Things They Say" charted 2nd on the rockchart of musicstation The Box, and got regular airplay on Dutch MTV. The deal with Avalanche was prolonged, and Forcefeed's second album "Stainless" was released in October 2005. 2006 saw the band close a European promotion and distribution deal with Rock Inc. / Bertus, and take off to the US for a 10 date tour. In combination with the glut of shows they played over the years, all of this allowed Forcefeed to develop a blistering live-act.
.. So what's next? Certain is that Forcefeed will continue to write and perform their music with the same determination they've had so far. Playing more shows, meeting more people, making new fans and who knows what else!
