Few people know that library cats were very common at one time.
Dewey Readmore Books was found on a freezing cold morning stuffed into the book drop at the Spencer Public Library. After he was rescued and warmed up, Dewey became the library's cat. For more than 18 years, he lived in the library and affected the lives of the staff, residents and people around the world.
Dewey: a small-town library cat who touched the world is the story of his life. However, the book is about more than just Dewey. It is about how he changed the town. A quick easy read, the story flows from the pages and touches the heart.
