Flesh//Machines//Software: FRAGMENT KING began as the continuation of freejazz-grindcore band NEW LEADERSHIP, with electronic and digital means, but with the aesthetic of heavy guitars constantly in mind. After a first vinyl appearance in 1999 and beginning of live actions in 2001, the FRAGMENT KING sound began to consolidate with the Nexialist release of the "Live At Si" cassette tape in 2002 and the "Simple Things Are Often Monstrous" split vinyl release with NEXICON. In continuation, FRAGMENT KING employed guitars, bass guitars, vocals and software on the pathomechanical and anatomic recordings in 2003 and 2004, pieces of which have been appearing on compilations throughout the underground, in addition to various remixes. Crushing atmospheric heavyness, grinding compression of time/space, elegiac out-of-body movement and radical audible butchery. A personal discourse on destiny: the questions are the answers. Now, FRAGMENT KING returns with digital beatwork, detuned chords and treated voice on the "Grey Album", his first release for notorious ultracore label Invasion Wreck Chords.

NEXICON RELEASED ON ANNIHILVS Jan 14

finally! recorded in 2002 and edited in 2004, the album [life emitting diode] by NEXICON is released in a limited edition cd audio by ANNIHILVS. featuring members of FRAGMENT KING and NTT (prolific American power electronics and dark ambient creators), NEXICON met for a series of jam sessions and live improvisations in new york in 2002.
