About

My name is Davide Franco Incorvaia, and I'm an italian musician. I was born in 1983, and since the age of 13, music became the center of my life. All started when my father, during an hot afternoon of a summer many years ago, made me listen an album that suddenly changed everything in my head, Giant Steps by John Coltrane. I never listened jazz music before of that, and by that day my life was changed: I never stopped listening jazz. Then, after I listened on my dad's vynil collection of jazz greatest recordings the music of Duke Ellington, Keith Jarrett, Bud Powell, Art Tatum, Bill Evans, I couldn't come back anymore: piano was my instrument!
So I began studying jazz by self-taught on the piano for some years, and then I did another discover... day by day I started also listening to the great piano pieces of western classical music, and so I began taking piano lessons to being able to read, play and understand that impressive, enigmatic, passionate and incredible music. True music is immortal, and so much centuries of wonderful art are behind us! So, the works of Bach, Rameau, Chopin, Debussy and many others, shall never be obsolete, because they reached the universal soul of mankind and the heart of our mind.
At present day, I really enjoy to compose music. I make music for films, spots, exhibitions, video-art, theater, short movies.
