Together since the start of 2005 Free Will & The Bad Influences have established themselves on the Cambridge circuit and have built up a solid following.
The band have recently got through to the finals of the unity band of the year contest held in Peterborough where they were the judges favourite, but lost the crowd vote to a local band.
Known for their highly entertaining live shows and instantly likable 70's riff-led style they call "Groove Rock" they're rapidly gaining fans and a great reputation on the circuit.
Influences:
Their biggest influence is without doubt the British rock band Free. We've also taken inspiration from bands including Reef, AC/DC, Led Zepplin and The Rolling Stones
Sounds Like:
A blend of classic rock and blues with a shot of funk. Simple bass and guitar lines that stick, plus BIG vocals with character and passion.
Press:

"A great song. Love the hook and the tempo, very unique too. Full approval !!!!!!!!!!" Lucy Piller - www.allrightnow.com - the official Paul Rodgers of Free and Bad Company website.
"From the very first opening bars it was obvious that Free Will & The Bad Influences meant business. Solid bluesy rock songs with on occasion, wailing harmonica accompaniment. You could see jaws dropping as people mouthed the words "wow" and "awesome"." Craig Lyons: www.unityrocks.blogspot.com
