Poverty is deeper than a lack of food. Deeper than a lack of clothes. Deeper than a lack of shelter. And it's more than not having money. It's a lack of hope.

The opposite of poverty isn't wealth, it's enough. And the lie of poverty tells children, "You don't matter." It's a crippling message.
