Safari? What's up with you?
This has bugged me since I noticed it in Safari 2 (and it didn't change with leopard). Safari seems to only obey the letter-spacing style in certain em increments that are less granular than Firefox (or even IE).
In this example I applied "letter-spacing: -0.05em;" and Safari seems to be completely ignoring it.
Have others run into this? Is there a way around it to get more granular typographical control? It's most irritating!
