Everybody must've heard about Joost ! It's the latest attempt to crack the Holy-Grail of the so-called IPTV, spear-headed by the guy who did Kazaa AND Skype.

I've heard so much good about it so far, marvelled on the photos put up on flickr, but so far haven't experience it personally myself. Following the web2.0 tradition, Joost is opening its membership slowly, invite only. These invites are really scarce, really hard to find, even the one who's already in claim that they haven't been allocated invitations yet. Indeed some people said that this phenomenon remind remind them with the GMail era.

And just when things couldn't get worse, lo and behold, I've got an email just now, from somebody whom I've never known, trying to sell me Joost invites. He is selling this as much as $20 per invite ! Unbelievable !

Here is the email:

Hi all of you, I've got invites of Joost! I can give as many as I can, but im selling* them! Around the whole Joost Users and Owners, the invites are being sold by them too! If you want any invites, then; The cost is: Whoever replys me the fastest will get a special discount on the price. (Original Price: 15EUR or 10 pounds or 20$)...if you reply fast, then the price can be reduced to : ( 8EUR, 6 pounds, or 12$!)...or even more!

I will only accept Payments by PayPal!

And if 'really' that desperate and willing to pay the above price, let me know, I'll give you his email. As for myself, I want to get the invite, but I'm not that desperate.
