Georgia Wonder are Stephanie Grant and Julian Moore.
They describe their music as The Carpenters driving Tom Petty to an R.E.M. gig but getting crushed under the wheels of Pink Floyd's tour bus while arguing over whether to listen to 'Love Shack' by the B52's or 'Go your own way' by Fleetwood Mac.
They were picked up by the legendary 'whispering' Bob Harris who played their demo's twice in two weeks on his BBC Radio Two saturday night show, are on the playlist of the south's largest commercial station Original FM and were in fact the first unsigned band played on the station, won the Talksport Radio demo panel and the BBC Southern Counties demo panel, as well as regular appearances on radio closer to home on Express FM and in London on Resonance FM.
They won the 'Best Song' category in Express FM's first ever 'Golden Plectrum Awards' with their song 'Hello Stranger'.
They have also been featured on such influential podcasts as 'The Miller Tells Her Tale' and 'Nette Radio', which champion Americana and female led groups respectively.
