Ghost Runner plays vast, propulsive, and epic rock songs about Greek myths and dinosaurs and oceans and planets and stars and radio waves.
Based in Brooklyn, the three Texas natives play an agressive, intelligent style of punk-influenced rock that’s at turns ugly and graceful, whispering and overpowering.
Pulling influences from such like-minded, virtuosic acts as Television, Built to Spill, QOTSA, Mark Lanegan, Fugazi, At the Drive-In, and Radiohead; Ghost Runner specializes in long, intense sets of hypnotic rock that winds from indie-experimentalism to pop bombast.
They've been playing together for eight years under various guises in Austin, Texas and New York City.
