So who and what are we exactly? We GL1TCHG0R3 ... and we are INSANE. GL1TCHG0R3 is unusual in that they are primarily a “virtual’ band formed by Ted Bell and Patrick Chauncey, conceived, executed, marketed, discovered and signed to Some Bizzare before the two band members ever actually met in person. They formed in June of 2007, and within a few weeks developed a large underground following. GL1TCHG0R3 (glitch - gore) was born out of an experiment to create a new fusion of sound somewhere between hip-hop, improvisational jazz fusion, noise, IDM and glitch. Stumped at how to proceed with this task, they invoked Eris the goddess of chaos through song, art, insanity and an organ donation. The Mother of mechanized music was indeed pleased - so pleased that she plucked out her right eye, and created the most terrifying weapon of mass destruction in the universe to take its place among us. Thus Gearball, also known affectionately as Mister Twinkles, came to become the band's whimsical cyclopean mascot. Travel with Mister Twinkles and his friends through a wild acoustic romp into the depths of cosmic chaos. And if you listen closely, betwixt the screams of the undead and alien tribal rhythms, you'll hear the dancing laughter of Eris grinding away at the humming rotors of creation.
After GEARBALL was released by Some Bizzare, we decided to go our own way. Our music is by no means mainstream and frequently defies categorization because it's our own genre. Call it noise, call it sonic drugs, call it ambient or industrial-ghettotech media mixes. Whatever. We just call it GL1TCHG0R3 ... the soundtrack for the discordian age.

The Death Sound, Oct 19, 2008:
Sweet. Things have been a bit slow for us lately. Sorry I've been kinda off the radar for the last couple weeks... Ironically, both matt and I have had some serious artist's block lately and just haven't gotten a lot done lately... We're gonna be getting together in person for the first time in over a month, though, so hopefully something creative'll come out of it. Meantime, I've gotten on the list to get a Gristleizer (which should make me the most badass dude around). Catch you guys later...
The Death Sound, Oct 3, 2008:
woo hoo! First comment! (maybe?)
Since we've got about 50+ people out of our 900+ that we use myspace to (actually) keep in touch with, we may never completely abandon our presence there, but if anything, this'll be a nice way to get more music hosted... Plus, I can strip out html to embed in the impending death sound website :D
BTW, loving the extended Ode to Eris.
