Hey it's me, Jeff. The name "gojeffrey" came about as I was registering a domain name. I didn't have anything specific in mind, but wanted something that would identify me in some way. Jeff, Jeffrey, JeffreyWright and all the other obvious choices were not available. As I was registering on godaddy.com, I thought to myself, "how about gojeffrey?" So original and inventive, no? No. Not really, but that's how it happened.

I was born and raised in Tustin, California (Orange County) and moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 2000 for my job. I'm a logistics manager for an import auto maker, and while I enjoy my job very much, that's not going to be the focus here. On the other hand, I am completely open to meeting and conversing with others in the automotive or logistics fields if I happen to encounter them here.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my MacBook to discover music, blogs, news, and people. I like to play video games (Nintendo 64, PS2, Wii). I also enjoy extended World of Warcraft sessions when I have the time to spare. I like to take pictures and am trying to learn how to be a better photographer. Beyond the digital world, I enjoy my home life, my friends, and my pets. A typical summer afternoon will find me hanging out with my friends on the boat, heading to Hooters for some hot wings and cold beer.

I will try to expand my Virb presence and make the most of it while I'm here. I also enjoy keeping my online scrapbook (tumblelog) which can be found directly at gojeffrey.com

Lifecast App For iPhone

I'm trying out an app I just downloaded to my iPhone called LifeCast which lets me post to my tumblelog and my blogger accounts. If this makes posting to my more traditional blogs as easy as posting to twitter, I just might keep them more up to date. Or not. Posted with LifeCast

It's alright... I'm working on a new layout since I'm essentially learning all this CSS and HTML by using VIRB. Good way to learn, I suppose, jumping right into it. ;)
