About

My name is Grace, or Gracie, or 'that barmaid', and I’m 21 and a bit years old. I have a 2:1 degree in English Literature and Cultural History with Media and Cultural Studies. Some of the most important things I discovered at University is that I really like to use proper English in conversations, that drinking a bottle or two (or maybe four) of wine in 20 minutes is a good thing, and The Matrix will always be a good film to analyse for any media essay.
I’m going to start a course in criminology pretty soon, and hopefully this will take me on to do a masters in Social Sciences in which I‘ll have to study media, english, sociology, psychology and criminology. I either really like learning or I’m criminally insane.
My house is officially a zoo. I currently own a Yorkshire terrier called Bonnie, a hamster called Lemmy, two turtles, two birdies, and lots of fish. I personally don’t think this is enough animals to own.
I love working in my bar, and I love the people I work with. Some of them smell though, and that annoys me. A lot of bands play there, and sometimes leave pineapples behind for the bar staff to fight over. I haven’t got a pineapple yet.
Me and my wonderful friends have been to the Leeds Festival for the last four years. I really like the milk, and the riots. I’m so excited about this years festival, which is stupid because its still, like, 6 months away. But, oh my jesus, some of the rumours of who is playing this year just make me want to EXPLODE.
On a side note, I’ve met Lemmy from Motorhead, Ken Dodd, and Nick Oliveri. I therefore rock.
