I know I can speak for everyone when I say that life is impossible when you try to do it on your own. God reminded me today that, even though, at times, when I push God away and try to do life on my own, I actually didn't push Him that far away. God is smarter than that, He knows how unable I am, and how heavy the suffering is when I try to do things my own way.

In Isaiah 63:9, he says this, "In all their suffering he also suffered, and he personally rescued them. In his love and mercy he redeemed them. He lifted them up and carried them through all the years."

It's good to be redeemed. It's good to be carried by a God that's a whole-heck-of-a-lot smarter than I am.

Man, thank God that I don't have to do life alone. And thank God for little reminders that refresh, when refreshing is needed.
