Hey gang,

This week's profile pic is composite for selects from a recent shoot with Elizabeth Stanley. Four shots featured, and I could have featured at least eight more. While many shoots have several keepers from which to choose, this shoot in particular had numerous keepers in the bunch. Simply couldn't narrow down to one.

First off, this was Liz's third photo shoot as a model. Suffice it to say that she is a natural. We blazed through three looks and 2-3 set-ups for each look, and she nailed everyone one of them.

Secondly, she pulls of the buzz cut like few people can. Her new 'do was an unplanned surprise, even to her, after a botched hair coloring job where her hair was fried. Instead of living with fried hair for 2-3 weeks before the stylist could apply even more styling chemicals to the already damaged hair, Liz seized the opportunity to "erase" the mistake and opted for a buzz cut. Serendipitous if you ask me. We instantly changed our shoot plans and began pre-production on the new direction. So excited how they turned out.
