The new Lanvin jewellery has been out for awhile now, but i feel like i just have to talk about how great it is.
The merging of perspex plates and claw set rhinestones is really truly something that takes your breath away for a few good seconds. I would really like to know who is the mad genius that toils away in the basement of the Lanvin HQ and each season finds an even newer angle on contemporary costume jewellery. Also, read somewhere that right now is the renaissance of 'jewellery' and clothes are taking a secondary role. Which isn't hard to agree with when you look at the collections designers are putting out each season. Especially Vera Wang, boring clothes but awesome jewellery, which, i just want to say is NOT designed by her but some guy which unfortunately i've forgotten the name, anyways, he is BRILLIANT.
