To quote my profile

"I laugh when nobody else is laughing, or even talking for that matter. The fact I am laughing like a madwoman only adds to the hilariousness of the situation. I could be there for hours"

To put it simply, I like to laugh, period.

i love the expressions on people's faces when random laughter happens. it can range from delight to bemusement to annoyance. and don't we feel sad for anyone that would be annoyed at the sound of joy?

I love those situations where someone is laughing alone quite randomly...it's far too contagious for those of us who love to laugh...i start even though i don't quite know why i'm laughing and continue on for just that reason bemusement-i'm not sure it's a word, but i get it.
and well put, jo "annoyed at the sound of joy" seems to be quite an oxymoron

I know exactly what you mean. Last weekend I laughed so long and loud it made my throat hurt.
