Indie music can be described as upbeat yet mellow/chill in mood, eclectic in sound, lyrically meaningful, and non-commerical. This is a group for sharing your interests in indie music.

"Indie Music" began as a term used to describe unsigned artists or artists signed to an independent record label but has since evolved to somewhat of it's own genre of music. This is a group not intended for artist promotion other than word of mouth and shared interests so please refrain from any self-promotion. The group is intended to be used interactively by it's members through the postings. You can post anything from artists or songs to mixes and other interests.
