So... how did we all enjoy Transformers? I got some extremely mixed reviews before I saw this one (such as... 'ITS THE BEST FUCKING MOVIE EVER' to 'Micheal Bay is only good at explosions and those aren't even done right thats why it sucks') so I decided to keep an open, unbiased mind walking into the theater. (Unbiased is a bit of a stretch... I liked the Transformers before this movie.) I'm not gonna lie though, I was expecting a lot more. Yeah, the robots looked awesome, the action scenes were wicked, it was entertaining (because its not a movie you watch for plot and character development -- pleeeease, its a story about giant transforming alien robots) HOWEVER, more than once (actually almost every single time) I would roll my eyes at any bit of dialogue between the robots, and a few times I caught myself daydreaming due to boredom. I think too much emphasis was put on the transformations from cars, trucks, planes and what have you, than the actual action scenes. Once you get over the initial shock of how cool and realistic the robots look, and how awesome it is when they transform for the first time, you've pretty much had your fill. You don't need to see it over, and over and over again. At times I just wanted the plot to move forward a little faster. I'll give it a 7.5 out of 10, because it made my inner child happy, but didn't WOW me as much as I expected it to.

I saw The Bourne Ultimatum yesterday, and I have to say it was awesome. The movie was great, action was intense. The camera work can make you a little nauseous, but if you watch shows like 24, your probably a little used to it.
