I'm playing the piano since october 2006. It is not a long time, but my teacher says that I'm doing well. I've got a Korg Pa50 and I like it very very much!!!

hi piano ppl. Just herited my 1st piano at the age of 34!! wow. always wanted to learn piano and read music and now I can.... Its an old piano dated 1936 but it can still play a good tune! pity its spent last 50 yrs in a smokers house!! it does smell quite bad and the keys r stained and dirty. I own a Very basic Casio keyboard since i was young. It broke down last month =(
Even though i have to say it myself; I'm quite skilled. The only problem would be my lack of the ability to fluetly read sheet music.
I compensate this with my gift of hearing. I can play most things i hear.
Ever since i was little i wanted to own a grand piano. Too bad it costs that much.
If anyone want to donate lol, i mean, i really want a grand piano ^^

Pianos FTW! A few months ago I was at this homeless shelter called Promise House doing an interview with the staff and getting a tour of the facility there, and lo and behold (like most places of this nature) they had a little console piano that was (as with pianos in most places of this nature) completely out of tune and rarely used, so I put my stuff down and laid it out. It's interesting how a piece of furniture sitting around is nothing until someone brings it to life.
Also, I think we can all agree that Andrew McMahon is the greatest thing to ever touch a piano in the history of mankind. CASE CLOSED!

I just taught sonata-allegro form in Beethoven's Pathetique Sonata to my university students. It's an entry level class, so they were quite fascinated by the tremolos & opening chromatic scale.
