Bring out the true face of learning

We regard learning as an essential part of human life, playing a key role in how an individual can fully develop her/his potential and pursue her/his happiness. Modern compulsory schooling strips people away from real learning and makes people unable to learn, which is the root of all social problems. We intend to bring back the true face of learning, making it easy for people to engage in self-initiated, self-paced, active life-long learning on a full spectrum of subjects via many different ways in the real life. The resource of learning will be greatly enriched, and everyone can become a teacher, full-time, part-time or independent. The real world will be turned into a comprehensive supportive learning environment, and thus Sudbury Valley Model can be expanded to the whole society for people of all ages. Through grassroots efforts, with the aid of software and WWW, using free open market. we aim to accomplish the vision of learning as outlined by Mr. John Taylor Gatto.
